Hello,
I have been crabbing for a while and have come across a hermie that i can not identify... i have no pics of her but i might be able to give you a good idea of what she looks like.
She is a dark gray w/ dark tan stripes on her legs. Her inner intenna are red and the outer ones are white(the first section closest to her body) and gray(the last section). I do not see any dark spots on her eyes and her eys are kinda shaped like this ---> )( She has no stitch marks on her BIG claw wich also has white spots. Can anyone help me?

Ohh Yeah i forgot... she barely has any hair at all...

I would've said ruggie, but it doesn't have stitchmarks. Maybe a cav?

Yeah i think she is a cav... i just thought i might ask you guys to c what you thought... i said she was gray

Sorry it is taking so long to respond.

It might be a violascens because they have been mistaken for Cavipes.
